Wolfsburg's Junior Malanda Dies In A Car Accident
Wolfsburg and Belgium U21 midfielder, Junior Malanda, has died in car accident according to reports in Germany.
According to the BILD, the 20-year-old was in the back seat of an SUV, when the high-speed collision took place in north-central Germany.
The car reportedly flew over the guardrail on the side of the road and crashed into a tree, with the police suggesting Malanda died immediately.
The other two passengers in the car were seriously injured and were taken to hospital.
The midfielder was scheduled to fly out to South Africa for Wolfsburg's training camp on Saturday evening.
While, it has been confirmed to Soccer Laduma that Wednesday's clash with Ajax Cape Town will still go ahead.
