The longest serving defender at the club isn’t a regular starter like he used to be, as he has lost a lot of pace and seems to be prone to injury.

The veteran centre- back has been a great servant to the club and by being one of the senior men it’s no surprise he is the second highest earner.
Steven Gerrard

Years Remaining: One
The Liverpool captain is in his final season with the club and will be joining MLS franchise LA Galaxy next season.
