Chelsea Bose: Mourinho Not Keen On Swimming With Big Sharks

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, is keen to avoid difficult opponents in this year’s Round of 16 draw for the Champions League, claiming there are 'a few sharks in the ocean'.
The London club finished top of Group G, and have avoided draws against the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but could still potentially come up against PSG or Juventus when the knockout rounds get underway.
“Last year we were close and we didn't have the team playing at such a high level as we do this season so we can dream we will do it,” the Portuguese manager told Sky Sports 1.
“But let's see if the sharks let us, because there are a few sharks in the ocean.”
Mourinho went on to say that he would have liked his matchday six opponents to qualify for the knockout stages, and concluded that his team needs to maintain a professional demeanour.
"We focused very seriously and I'm so happy about that. I am sorry for Sporting and I would have liked them to qualify but I would have only liked them to qualify because Chelsea didn't need a result. Schalke needed a result,” he added.
"We have to do our job, we are professionals and cannot make friends in football, so I am happy with my players' attitude.”
Chelsea will now shift their focus to the Premier League, where their lead is now only three points over second-place Manchester City and an encounter to come against Hull on Saturday.
