Messi Sets A New European Record

Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi, scored the levelling goal against Paris Saint-Germain in last night’s Champions League Group F encounter.
The goal saw Messi equal the record mark for most goals in all European competitions as the Argentine now has 76 European goals.
Messi finds himself level with former Real Madrid star Raul, while current rival Cristiano Ronaldo is one behind.
The Argentine captain needed only 95 European appearances to reach this landmark, with 75 of those goals coming in the Champions League and one in the UEFA Super Cup.
The 27-year-old is already the all-time leading scorer in La Liga, the European Cup/Champions League and El Clasico, as well as being Barcelona's all-time leading scorer.
Messi has made 20 appearances for the Catalan’s this season, scoring 21 goals and assisting in 11 more. He has also been nominated for the Ballon d’Or title for a record fifth time and will be hoping to win it for a fourth time.
