Dortmund Finish Top, But Arsenal Run Close

It was an exciting Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League with 21 goals scored across eight games as Olympiacos, Real Madrid and Arsenal registered big victories.

In Group A, Juventus qualified for the knockout stages of the competition with a 0-0 draw against Atletico Madrid while Olympiacos beat Malmo 4-2 in the other group game.
The results see Atletico top Group A with 13 points followed by Juventus on ten points, Olympiacos in third on nine points and Malmo last with three points.
In Group B, Real Madrid maintained their 100 percent win record in this season’s Champions League following an impressive 4-0 win over Ludogorets while Basel and Liverpool played to a 1-1 draw at Anfield.

The results see Madrid top Group B with 18 points followed by Basel on seven points, Liverpool in third with five points and Ludogorets last with four points.
In Group C, Monaco finished top of the standings after beating Zenit 2-0 while Bayer Leverkusen drew 0-0 with Benfica.
The results see Monaco top the standings on 11 points followed by Leverkusen in second place on ten points, Zenit in third on seven points and Benfica last with five points.
In Group D, Arsenal came close to topping the standings, but fell short by three goals after beating Galatasaray 4-1 with Aaron Ramsey and Lukas Podolski both grabbing a brace. Borussia Dortmund drew 1-1 with Anderlecht in the other Group D game.
The results see Dortmund top the standings on goal difference, followed by Arsenal after both finished on 13 points. Anderlecht finished third with six points and Galatasaray last with one points.
