Manchester city star upbeat on champions league run despite last minute defeat

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart remains sure his side can progress into the later stages of the Champions League after a string of sensational saves ensured Bayern Munich only won with 1-0 scoreline,Daily Mail reports.
The England international along with his team mates were so close to earning themselves a draw until a 90th minute shot from former City defender Jerome Boateng found it’s way into the net via a Mario Gotze deflection.
However, he remains upbeat over their chances given the fact that the side went toe to toe with the Bundesliga champions.
“We fought hard all night against a good team you know what you get when you come up against them.
“A nasty deflection at the end has done us and Jerome Boateng comes back to haunt us.
“It would have been a well-deserved draw, we made them work hard for everything. I tend to be busy against German teams.
“But we can match Bayern Munich, we know that.
“We have some very tough games now and we have to play well against CSKA and Roma now. We’re confident we can win the rest of our games. Roma won 5-1? Wow.”
