Brazil legend, Ronaldo de Lima, has revealed who he thinks is the world’s best striker at present, as well as the best player that he ever came up against during his playing career.
The 38-year-old, who recently hinted a comeback for Fort Lauderdale Strikers, believes Paris Saint-Germain star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the deadliest number nine in the game.
“I think it’s Ibrahimovic. He wears No. 10, but he plays like a No. 9,” he told Sports Illustrated.
“I’ve been last year a couple times to Paris to watch his matches. His movement! He’s very, very good, the best at the moment.”
The 1994 and 2002 World Cup winner also revealed that French legend, Zinedine Zidane, is the best player he has ever played against.
“Zinedine Zidane. I had the pleasure to train with him,” he added.
“People saw a lot of things in matches, but I saw him every day in training, in games. Every time it was amazing to watch him.”
Ronaldo has played for clubs like Barcelona, Inter and AC Milan, as well as Real Madrid, before hanging up his boots in 2011.
