Beckham believes having the Special One back in the Premier League is a massive positive and thinks the future of the Red Devils is in safe hands.
Speaking at the JW3 Jewish community centre in north London, Beckham said: "I think it is perfect."
He added: "Bring Jose in, I loved him as a manager, bringing him back to the Premier League needed to happen.
"It's not the same without him. I can't wait to see him. I only hope I can go to the first game."
