Mario Balotelli Again Left Out of Italy Squad But Graziano Pelle Gets Call

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has again been left out of Antonio Conte's Italy squad.

Conte omitted Balotelli from his first Italy squad and has again overlooked the Liverpool man, meaning he will not feature in Euro 2016 qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Malta next week.

While Balotelli has been overlooked, Conte has called up Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, who earns his first Azzurri call-up.

Pelle joined the Saints in the summer and has scored five goals in eight games for Ronald Koeman's men.

Conte has also selected Pablo Osvaldo, on loan at Inter from Southampton, and who has enjoyed a bright start to life with the Nerazzurri.
