The current coach of the German giants promised at the beginning of the season not to change the philosophy of this Bayern side. But with an Average 61% possession rate, it is obvious Bayern Munich But with the league all wrapped up in only their week 27, scoring 89 goals creating 463 chances it is clear this Bayern side are far from the adaptive side they once were. Bayern completed 657 passes to Madrid 257 in the return leg and still managed to lose the game without a single goal, far from champions you can say.
At the Allianz Arena, it was a similar affair as Bayern came out with a strong team hoping to get goals and hold Madrid off, it was not to be as Madrid used Bayern Munich’s Weakest link; Defending Set pieces. Did he not learn from the 1st leg that his side need to give Madrid room to attack? Did he not realize his team are not the strongest set pieces?

Rusty Fernando Torres was given a Stating Berth ahead Of Eto’o who clear has more goals the Spaniard. More so, Azpiliqueta and Luiz were given the free run from the first whistle until Mourinho Thought it was time to get a goal. But why bring in Shurrle when you know quite well he is no Messi? Why wait for things to go wrong before you pull out a rusty Ashley Cole before introducing a two central forward strike-force? It is clear Chelsea Cannot Work half as much as Atletico do and it is clear you need to be brutal from the 1st whistle to get past them so what exactly was the plan? Do you use a shield to push and defeat your enemy who is also using a shield?
Whatever the answers are, it is clear some managers are full of themselves and will not bend their ways for any team or anyone. The very reason both managers were ousted from the La Liga giants is the very reason they may never win such tournaments again.
